Community Rules
Most of our rules pertain to keeping a clean, hostile-free atmosphere. They're quite similar to the Habbo Way. So, if you're familiar with the Habbo Way, then you should be all set. If you don't know the rules, fret not! We have them listed for you below.
DO
Chat - Get to know your fellow residents and make new friends!
Create - Design the best lot in all of DuckyWood. Be creative!
Help - Get to know one another and provide assistance when you can!
Host - Host holiday BBQs or other events. The best party in the block!
DONT
Troll - We're not keen on trolls. We'll send them back under the bridge. We won't tolerate trolling.
Trash - If we catch you causing a 'natural' disaster in your district... we'll send you a courtesy moving truck on behalf of DuckyWood. Good bye.
Scam - Just like Habbo, we won't tolerate that for DuckyWood Residents. If we catch you, we'll evict you.
Cyber - DuckyWood (and Habbo) is not the place for this. Eviction? We unanimously say yes.
Reserve your lot
Next is to find the perfect lot! DuckyWood has plently of lots to choose from. But, how do I know which ones are available?
In the DuckyWood Map, click a street that has a FOR RENT sign above it.

then click View Street Map

then select one of the available lots on the street that has FOR RENT sign above it

then click + Request Reservation.

and in the next day or so, someone from DuckyWood's Town Council will reach out!
Please note that DW+ lots require a minimum 1 month of DW+. If you have DW+ and have less than 1 month remaining, DW+ lot requests may be denied.

Lot Type Guidelines
Regular DuckyWood House Lots Guidelines:
These lot include the regular lots that are available free to anyone who wants to move into DW. Typical lot sizes are somewhere around 9x13 tiles. The streets are named after trees types typically!
You must be able to build your own house or have someone who can assist you. DW cannot guarantee that someone can help build your house.
You must be able to supply the building supply (furniture) needed to build your house.
Do not block streets where a tele will be or is at currently
Please incorporate the 2 trees on your lot within your design plans and the recycling bin cause trash pick is on Thursdays
House numbers third digit can be changed if requested
You can change the grass within your lot
Be mindful of properties lines
Don’t not build on the corner edge of your lots too high that would block your neighbors lot.
Some lots may have height restrictions.
Fae Cottages are not allowed on our regular DW house, Mallards Estates or Ocean Villas streets / lots
DW+ Mallards Estates lots Guidelines:
These lots are larger than are regular lots in typically in our Mallards Estates Neighborhood which does connect to the rest of DuckyWood. These streets are named after duck breeds typically!
An active DW+ membership
Same rules as Regular DW House Lots except 2 trees.
DuckyWood will uphold a high expectation for each DuckyWood+ lot such that each lot will require a unique, creative, and well-thought-out building plan.
Note: If your DW+ membership expires, you have until the following month to renew before you’ll be evicted from the Mallards.
DW+ Ocean Villas lots Guidelines:
Do you hear the Ocean calling you? These unique lots have our most restrictive lot guidelines that pushes our residents creative minds! These streets are named after different palm trees or beach/ocean theme names!
An active DW+ membership
7x10 area for your house building with a height clearance of 10 spaces high. (Your house must fit these requirements.)
7x6 front yard for your yard/patio only!
Dock slip for a boat! (Boat not included)
Do not build on the pebbled floors bordering your lots. (Or whatever border your street is utilizing)
You cannot build a house/roof on the front yard area.
DuckyWood will uphold a high expectation for each DuckyWood+ lot such that each lot will require a unique, creative, and well-thought-out building plan.
Note: If your DW+ membership expires, you have until the following month to renew before you’ll be evicted from the Ocean Villas. Also, Ocean Villas are limited quantity. DW+ Mallards Estates are the main DW+ perk for DW+ Residents, Ocean Villas lots are not guaranteed for all residents.
Business Lots Guidelines:
Do you have a Habbo room that resembles some sort of business? A restaurant? A Boutique Shop? Grocery Store? Museum / Collections? - The business streets are for you! The streets are typically our numbered streets like North 1st Street through North 5th Street in our North Business District and South 1st Street through South 6th Street in our South Business District.
The lot sizes for our business lots are typically smaller than regular lots but varies.
Same rules as Regular DW House Lots except 2 trees and recycling bin.
Must connect to a business type room and teleport is supplied by you.
Frequently Asked Quackions
Do I have to pay to live in DuckyWood?
No, the majority of DuckyWood is free! We do have "invoices" monthly on our site as our activity checker.
Do I have to build my own house?
While building your own lot in DuckyWood is one of the main parts of DuckyWood... we do have an apartment style street where you only need to supply a door tele to connect your room to our community.
Which lots aren't free?
We have DW+ lots that are in our Mallards Estates Community and Ocean Villas Community. In order to own a lot in these community, you must be a DW+ Member.

How many lots can I own?
Residential lots: You may own (1) regular residential lot with being a resident in DuckyWood. If you are a DW+ member, you can own (1) regular residential lot, (1) DW+ Mallard Estates lot, and (1) DW+ Ocean Villas lot (if available) for a total of 3 residential lot.
Business lots: We do not have a limit on business lots currently. Each business lot must have a least 1 business that is connected via teleport.
